So I was screwing around with D2 today, trying to make some changes to my Uber Bot (No idea why, I don't even have B.Net Characters anymore)
So I made the Characters I needed, and tried to log them all in...

Fenopy > Fenopy (Smiter)
Fenopy > HaveABoner (Bone Necro)
PreludeOfDeath > PreludeOfDeath (Hammerdin)
LilPindleOwner > LilPindleOwner (Hammerdin)

I opened multiple D2's by doing a Hex edit on my D2GFX.dll file, and it worked great... Got into the game, and my chars basically just sat there for about 15-30 minutes....

So I go to login to play some StarCraft, and 'Your Account has been Closed (8)'
Holy Crap. haha.

They must run checks on their DLL files while you are online as well...

I didn't even do anything either. Quite amazing how fast they banned me.

Guess they finally mean business. haha

And anyway blizzard even has a warning message whne you sign in saying they are banning so, if you get banned now you are re-tart-ed


also, it is obvious they are trying to piss as many people off as possible to get them to play something else since they are now banning for tmc / nightlight / etc, other .txt mods. Something they should have done 3 years ago when they first came out.

i think what he is saying is that its pretty crazy that you can be banned from one game from cheating in another. which is pretty lame in my opinion. i personally wouldn't have thought they could do that.

and i agree they should have banned for that stuff along time ago
