I know if i wanna go pvp i gotta get all 3 expansions and the game, which i will do, but im wondering if its true that when u leave town u dont see anymore other ppl?

also how is pvp? i mean is it like bs wit tons of hacks like in d2?

to duel do u have to be in town and like challenge some1?

i heard this game is totally based on pvp, and it takes like 1 week to get lvl 20

also is it hard to get rich? (xD even tho i already will be when i start playing)

is there still alot of ppl?

ohhh and are all classes balanced in pvp or are there better ones??

You dont need all 3 games and the expansion to pvp. You can pvp in each one and each adds their own little thing.

There are few hacks. Anet cracks down. Barely any duping too.

And the game isn't based on pvp. Even though its easy to hit 20, you still have to finish your quests and missions and follow the storyline. Its very PvE intensive too.

There are tons of people still playing.

There are a few cookie cutter builds that people use, but no one class dominates PvP. Every class is viable with the right skills and gear.

Define "hard" and "rich" The majority of players don't have over 50 platinum. The easiest way to get rich is farming (gotta have the right build) and power trading.

ok thanks, but if i wanna go pvp, im better to get all 3 expansions since each 1 has new skills

and wat are those hacks do?

and i wont have to work to get rich xD i have nearly 9k fg on another forum to trade + 300ish here

and when u say u have to finish storyline and etc, does that do anything, like + skills or stats or is it just for fun?? it must still be faster to complete it than getting 99 on d2

but btw is true that when u leave town u dont see ppl anymore? only ur party

Tis true. You get your own private copy of the world occupied by only you, your party and NPC's. GW2 is going to be more like WoW in that it will have a shared world.

They make red letters appear on your forehead that spell "n00b".

Honestly I have no idea. Dupes are a rarity (I have never encountered them). Hacks are a very minor issue and really I have only heard of them being utilized in PvP. People get reported quite fast for this so the practice is relatively absent in compare to D2.

You will have to, at the very least, complete a series of missions to further the game. Completing quests opens new skills up for use on your account in PvP. General exploration, farming (MFing) and just going through the game will open up items for use on your account in PvP. You can create a PvP only character that starts at LvL 20, ready for battle. But unless you actually play the game, you won't have the skills and items opened up for use.

The second half of '08, depending on how the beta testing phase goes.
